Automated weight registration and control systems

An automated weight registration system can be constructed using various engineering techniques.

Real-time monitoring and control at all stages of the technological process is an important challenge for the industry. Advanced technologies of data measurement, identification, and transmission allow it to minimize the number of errors associated with the human factor and substantially enhance the enterprise efficiency.

The use of an automated weight registration system helps in minimizing the effect of the human factor on the identification processes, weighing, and loads registration.

The company InterVes has developed the remote control terminals DataBox and specialized software for a comprehensive control of the production material flows in store.

The main objective of the system is the supervision of mold casting accuracy and registration of used metal by weight.

In order to achieve required mold casting accuracy the metal should be weighted while poured into the mold. It can be done with crane scales of EHP, which is hanging between crane and foundry ladle. The crane scales shows the pouring metal weight in real time for maximum dosage accuracy. The operator of ladling is provided with terminal “DataBox RC” for registration and controlling of ladling operations. The terminal “DataBox RC” is equipped with telemetric RF channel for communication to scale and computer.

The main objective of the system is the supervision of burdening accuracy and registration of taken components by weight.

The burdening components are sequentially gathering in burdening bucket according to burdening task. After gathering of all components, the content of the bucket is pouring into the specified furnace. The burdening task is the weights list of every component of the burden, the burdening bucket number that will be used for burdening and the number of furnace in what the containment of the bucket should be poured. The operator of burdening is provided with terminal “DataBox RC” for registration and controlling of burdening operations.
